Mountain Pointe coach Norris Vaughan (far right) received the Sollenberger Classic trophy after his team defeated Bishop Gorman 28-21. The Sollenberger Classic is named after the late Barry Sollenberger, the Arizona Interscholastic Association’s former historian and friend of many in Arizona’s high school sports community. Barry’s brother, Jim (far left), handed the trophy on Friday to Vaughan.
