Red Mountain and Mesquite both come into Friday's non-section game at (1-0). Red Mountain is looking to keep momentum going after its 24-14 win over Westview last week. Mesquite is coming off a 20-3 win over Highland. Red Mountain will be a good test for the Wildcats before a tough stretch that includes Chandler, Chaparral and Hamilton. For Red Mountain, this is the last non-section game before its big test against section opponent Brophy next week.
