The National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA) released their lists of All-Americans from last fall and several standouts from Arizona earned recognition. Leading the way, as she did during the AIA championships, is Chaparral standout Ashley Strouse.

Strouse was the state champion in the 200 and 500 Free and she was part of the championship 200 and 400 Free Relay teams for the Firebirds as a freshman. The NISCA named her an All-American in the 200 Free, 500 Free and as a member of the 200 Free Relay, making her the only athlete to receive three recognitions.

In all, 26 athletes from Arizona were recognized for their accomplishments in either individual or relay events. In addition, the NISCA placed sevens swimmers from Arizona on their Academic All-American list:
