These Division II teams face off for the first time in this season opener in Tempe. They have not played each other prior to this week’s game, which will make this match-up even more interesting.  The Padres are coming off of a 9-3 season; losing to Centennial in the playoffs.  Notre Dame had an 11-2 season last year with it ending in a loss to Williams Field in the playoffs.  Neither of these teams can stand to underestimate the other, and this matchup will surely set the tone for an incredible season.
