Winning a state championship is great when you are hoisting the trophy and celebrating, but it can be a burden the following year as the next generation tries to live up to expectations for a possible repeat. "="">
That hasn’t been the case for the Scottsdale Saguaro baseball program and its coach, Ryan Dyer, after the Sabercats captured the Class 4A Division I title in the 2009-10 school year.
"="">
“It has been a different experience for sure, but we have tried to address this on a daily basis with our coaching staff and our team,’’ Dyer said.
"="">
“We have painted a target on our backs, where everyone wants to beat us, and it has been exciting.’’
