The girls basketball teams from Glendale Deer Valley and Phoenix Barry Goldwater high schools will be wearing pink uniforms on Friday night (Jan. 28) at Deer Valley and again at Goldwater on Feb. 15 in support of breast-cancer awareness.

Friday night’s game will honor late North Carolina State women’s coach Kay Yow, with some of the proceeds going to cancer research. The game at Goldwater will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
