Corona del Sol placed three players on the McClintock Holiday Shootout all-tournament team after beating Mountain Ridge, 58-51, for the tournament title last week.

Junior guard Calaen Robinson, freshman guard Casey Benson and junior post Avery Moss headed the 13-player squad. Corona del Sol was 4-0 in the tournament. The Aztecs are 10-2 on the season with losses to Mesa High and Mesa Mountain View.

Also named to the all-tournament team were Jared Zoller and Josh Skadeland (Mountain Ridge); Jaron Hopkins and Torren Jones (Basha); Sai Tummala (Brophy); Cameron Forte (McClintock); Jack Cone (Hamilton); Drew Bender (Pinnacle); Peter Smith (Desert Mountain) and Jack Connors (Saguaro).

Brophy finished third in the tournament with a 66-65 overtime triumph over Basha. Pinnacle won the consolation title, beating Saguaro, 76-57.
