Holiday vacation starts Friday afternoon, but for some wrestlers that break won't start right away.

McClintock High hosts its annual wrestling invitational Friday and Saturday with 29 schools competing in this year's tournament at McClintock High.

Matches begin at 2 p.m. Friday in the individual weight class format and run  through the evening. Action resumes Saturday morning at 9 with the finals slated to begin at approximately 5:30 p.m. The finals could begin earlier depending on the pace of matches on Saturday.

Schools competing are: Apache Junction, Basha, Campo Verde, Carl Hayden, Casa Grande, Cesar Chavez, Desert Mountain, Desert Ridge, Dobson, Gilbert, Hamilton, Higley, Combs, Marcos de Niza, Maricopa, Maryvale, McClintock, Mountain Pointe, Paradise Valley, Payson, Poston Butte, Red Mountain, Saguaro, Sandra Day O'Connor, Shadow Mountain, Sunnyside, Tempe, Westwood and Williams Field.
