Saguaro will open its 2013 home football season on Friday night as the Sabercats play host to Bradshaw Mountain. The Bears have begun this year's campaign doing something they failed to do in 2012: winning home games (over Apollo and Lake Havasu). Led by 340 passing yards and five passing touchdowns by senior quarterback Luke Rebenzer, Saguaro is coming off a 53-0 drubbing of South Mountain after the Cats' defense gave up 52 points and 566 yards of offense in its 2013 opener against Chaparral. Game time is set for 5pm.
