The final four over the weekend in the Highland Thanksgiving Lady Hawk Basketball Classic was Highland, Tolleson, Pinnacle and Seton Catholic.

Familiar names recently in girls basektball as far as top teams go. Highland and Tolleson squared off in the title game with Highland turning the tables on the Wolverines in the final this year with a 65-59 win. Highland reached then final beating Seton in the semis; Tolleson topped Pinnacle in its semi.

Last year Highland ended up bowing in the 5A-I state semifinals to St. Mary's. Tolleson and Pinnacle played for the 5A-II title with Tolleson prevailing. Seton ran roughshod over the 4A-II field at state and won the 4A-II title.

Nothing suggests anything has changed for these teams as they head into power-point games this week and another year of lengthy runs at the their respective state tournaments.
