It’s always nice to get off to a good start. On Tuesday, Estrella Foothills’ Dustie Durham was perfect.

Durham pitched a perfect game in her first outing of the 2012-13 season. She struck out 11 in five innings during a 19-0 victory Tuesday against Buckeye.

Durham’s defense only had to get two grounds outs and catch two fly outs when the ball was put into play. Last year, the sophomore hit .402 and went 6-0 with a 1.56 ERA.

Durham also went 2 for 3 in Tuesday’s game.
