Eight  softball players from the Valley and Casa Grande gathered Monday in Mesa to celebrate signing athletic and/or  academic scholarships with colleges and junior colleges in and out of state.

Those signing were IF-OF Autumn Vallie (Centennial High School); IF-P Emily Lodge (Poston Butte); C-IF Devon Ryan (Perry) and OF Melissa Edinger (Paradise Valley) all with Phoenix College; Casa Grande OF Morgan Miller with Chandler-Gilbert CC; Mesquite IF Ally Stoltzmann with South Mountain CC; Mesa Mountain View IF Britt Bonas (academic) with (NAU) and Highland's Kala Carter (College of Southern Idaho).
