Angels for Athletes, a local non-profit that awards scholarships to high school athletes who returned to action after overcoming extraordinary obstacles, is hosting a fundraising event, Nick’s Run, Feb. 3.

The event will be held at Tempe’s Kiwanis Park. Nick’s Run is named after the brother of Angel for Athletes founder Kara Stuart.

Nick, a senior at Pinnacle High, suffered a severe neck injury during a hockey game, but Nick is playing hockey again. To register for the event and to know more about Angels for Athletes go here.
