Kacey Bingham, who coached Phoenix Pinnacle to the Class 5A Division I girls soccer championship in the 2010-11 season and led Paradise Valley Community College to two national championships in the last three years, is taking over as head coach at Dixie State College, according to a news release by the St. George, Utah-based school.

Bingham, a graduate of Phoenix Thunderbird, had a 50-8-2 record at Pinnacle, and the Pioneers are 6-1 thus far this season. It is unclear whether she will remain with Pinnacle through the end of the current season or whether an assistant coach will take over.
