Hamilton and Mountain Pointe  go head-to-head to open the season.

Hamilton is looking to start the season off with a victory, after having lost in the Division I championship game against Desert Vista last season. The loss snapped their 53-game winning streak, but gives them plenty to work towards this season. The Huskies have a good number of starting players returning, and this will help them in the coming games as they look to be serious contenders for the playoffs.

Mountain Pointe finished last season 6-5, losing to Brophy in the playoffs. They opened the season last year against Hamilton, with the final score being in the Huskies favor, 17-7. Despite last year’s score, the Pride will give Hamilton their all with this season-opener rematch. They also have a number of their starters returning as well. A new season brings bright outlooks for every team, and both the Pride and the Huskies have something to prove with this big matchup to start the season.
