Fans to get up to the minute stats & more with new feature

July 8, 2012 by Kevin Ray, AZPreps365

The coverage of high school sports has increased 10 fold over the last 5 years. The evidence is everywhere around us.  Games being televised by multiple outlets, websites streaming games and events and more stories are being done by a variety of outlets.  But even with all the advances we've seen in the overall coverage of high school athletics there still is one big hurdle that keeps fans in the dark.  On any given Friday night or Saturday afternoon in the fall around the country there are thousands of football or soccer games going on. Unless you're at those games you have no way of knowing what the score is or how much time is left or who won or lost unless you have someone sending you updates.  This fall here in Arizona that's about to change.  The partnership with MaxPreps will have many positive effects for high school sports fans this year but none more so than the launch of Qwixcore.

This new feature from Max Preps will allow fans to stay up to date with game action from start to finish.  I'm not just talking about getting the scores but real time game stats and information right on your phone!  No more sending a text and hoping for a response. No waiting until after the scores are posted online after the game is over.  Now if you're part of the Qwixcore community you can get the game information you're looking for.  In fact  you just might the person plugging in the scores and stats.  One of the unique features of Qwixcore is that you any fan can be their schools Qwixcore ambassdor if you will.  Max Preps is putting the power of stats and reporting into the hands of the fans!  It's free and easy  to sign up and you'll want to make sure you get signed up first so you can be leader of your schools Qwixcore team.  Don't wait till the season begins though.  Head over to http://www.maxpreps.com/qwixcore/  and get signed up today.  We'll have more details as the season gets closer so make sure you're checking back often for more big news about our sports coverage for the upcoming school year!
