FLOWING WELLS VOLLEYBALL INVITATIONAL

SEPTEMBER 13-14

 

Sahuarita went 6-0 to capture the championship of the Flowing Wells Invitational held Friday and Saturday. Sahuarita junior Vanessa Wright collected eight assists with fellow junior Payton Zenan putting down six kills in the championship final over Rio Rico. Rio Rico senior Ariadne Tapia had 11 assists and junior Sophia Guzman had five kills.

Sahuarita (4-1 in ranking matches) will host Nogales (1-4) on Tuesday and Rio Rico (4-2) will host Moon Valley (5-1) on the same night.
