The Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) is pleased to join with America First Credit Union in a partnership that will provide scholarship opportunities to student-athletes and great exposure for the basketball championship tournaments.

Partnering through the 2026-27 school year, America First Credit Union is now the “Official and Exclusive Credit Union of the AIA” and the presenting sponsor of the AIA Basketball State Championships. Additionally, America First Credit Union will sponsor the AIA’s Scholar Athlete of the Year award presented at the annual Champions Gala. The organization will honor eight student-athletes with scholarship checks at the event.

“We couldn’t be happier that America First Credit Union is partnering with the AIA for the betterment of our students,” AIA Executive Director David Hines said. “Providing resources for our students and their families to be successful is a major tenet of the association’s purpose.
