Valley Christian opened up the game with a 10-2 run that only added fuel to the fire that would ignite a series of drives to the basket that would lead to foul trouble for free throw opportunities and easy points inside the paint.

Head coach Clint Treadway added, “I think we got to get better at handling pressure, get a little stronger in the weight room get better in the rebounding.”
Treadway also said, “They’re a great team they have a lot of talent and good size and are really well-coached they like to play fast and we tried to slow them down sometimes good players just get the better of you.”
After the game head coach, Greg Haagsma for valley Christian said, “Out the gate, I thought we came out with a lot of aggressiveness and transitioned well. Our man-to-man in the first quarter really increased the tempo to what we wanted it to be we were driving the ball to the basket we were just playing fast. We want the game to have lots of possessions.”
Haagsma also added when asked about what it’s like to coach a prospect like Caleb, “It’s a lot of fun as a coach it’s important that we play to his strengths and one of his strengths is he’s a great rebounder and we’re able to build a transition off of him.”
What’s next for Valley Christian? “Win a state title that’s our goal we want to win it all," Shaw said.
For the No. 1 team Valley Christian, they await to see who they play in the playoffs. While for ACP get ready for next season.
