No. 3 Show Low and No. 11 Empire are set to compete on November 12 at North Canyon High School at 3 p.m. in the Division IV playoffs. Show Low heads into the game 9-3 overall, while Empire is 8-3.

Empire has earned wins this season over Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, Safford, Rio Rico, Bisbee, Tombstone, Palo Verde and Baboquivari and lost to Douglas Sahuarita and Sabino. They will look  to seniors Adam Nieto, Alex Jeffries,Sean Fitzsimmons and junior Spencer Woody to lead them into the second round of the post-season. Empire will look to challenge Show Lows dynamic offense.

In Show Low's their first-round win over Mingus, the Ravens started the game off right with scores from Codey Tenney, Daniel MacLeod, two from Dallin Crandall, Chance Mariscal, Josh Weeks, Zach Winn and Andrew Garcia. Senior receiver Weeks, running-back Brian Johnson and outside linebacker Brody MacDonald are play-makers for Show Low and will look to be difference makers.
