Don't let the seeds fool you, this has the potential to be a great matchup. It was a phenomenal season for the 2nd-seeded Brophy Broncos, finishing with a perfect (10-0) record. For the 15th-seeded Mountain Pointe Pride, it was more up and down, finishing (6-4) overall. After starting the season (2-4), Mountain Pointe charged back to finish with a four-game winning streak entering the Division I playoffs. These two teams met earlier this season at Mountain Pointe, with Brophy collecting a 31-14 win. The two squads also met in the second round of the playoffs last year, with the higher seeded Mountain Pointe picking up a 13-12 win. Brophy appears to be the favorite in this game, but Mountain Pointe has been rolling as of late, and the Pride have been to the semifinals each of the past two seasons. Should be a good one at Phoenix College this Friday.
