Round 1 of the DI playoffs bring together Red Mountain and Sunnyside.  Red Mountain is the #5 seed, with a regular season record of 8-2.  They had a seven game winning streak this season; two of those wins were over Desert Ridge and Westview, both who are in playoffs this season.  With several high-scoring games during the regular season, look for WR Marcus Brantley and the offense to make big plays towards another high scoring game.  

Sunnyside comes into the playoffs as the #12 seed, with a regular season record of 7-3. They had an early exit from the playoffs last year when Chaparral defeated them 68-3.  The Blue Devils will have to put a stop to the Red Mountain offense all night to keep the score low and contain the Mountain Lions power players.
