It’s Week 7, and two undefeated teams meet on the gridiron, forcing one to get their first loss of the season. Desert Vista defeated top DIII team Saguaro last week with a final score of 31-28.  The Thunder rallied back from being down 28-6 in the first half.  They came out strong in the second half, using their size, speed and depth to beat the Sabercats and hold DJ Foster to only 22 yards in the second half.  Desert Vista has been having a great season thus far, and will certainly be battle-tested again with this DI match-up.

Hamilton is still holding on to their win-streak – now at 46 – with their latest victory coming in a close game over rival Chandler last week.  Jaxon Hood forced two fumbles, and Kendyl Taylor ran 44 yards for the winning touchdown.  Hamilton had struggles with Chandler’s defense, and will need to make sure this isn’t a weak point that will show up again against Desert Vista. 

This will be another big test for both teams.  Who gets to keep their undefeated record? This Thursday night will tell in what’s sure to be an exciting Division I game!
