Holbrook's Greg Perkins and Winslow's Scott Corum were the most honored coaches in the 3A East Region.

Perkins, who guided the Lady Roadrunners to 3A State Runners-Up, was voted as the East Region's Coach of the Year. Holbrook garnered first place honors in the East Region.

After earning a first round bye, No. 4 ranked Holbrook defeated Fountain Hills, 64-38, in the second round. The Lady Roadrunners knocked off Tanque Verde, 57-45, in the quarterfinals.

The Lady Roadrunners reached the Final Four, where Holbrook eliminated Chinle, 46-32. Holbrook dropped a 46-33 decision to Page for the State Championship. Holbrook finished the season 26-5.

Corum was voted the East Region's boy's Coach of the Year. Corum coached Winslow to number four rankings.

The Bulldogs earned a first round bye. No. 4 ranked Winslow outlasted Coolidge, 83-63, in the second round. Winslow was eliminated by Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, 59-50, in the quarterfinals. Winslow completed the season 23-5.
